Guest House Old Plovdiv

The staff were super friendly and accommodating during the 2 nights we stayed there. Booked the hotel for its particularly good location next to a beautiful garden, the St Konstantine and Helena church, the Icon Museum, and grocery stores.

Practically everything, from the friendly guys and girls of the staff to the marvelous building and the remarkably cheap price, this might just have been the best hostel I have ever stayed in

Like practically always in Eastern Europe, breakfast is automatically served with meat. Being a vegetarian this is always a minor issue for me and I can imagine it being a minor issue for other Veggie'S. So, as a friendly tip, ask first;)

Warm and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. the rooms here are beyond nice, equipped with everything you could ask for like air conditioning and a refreshing shower. 🌿 Their vegan breakfast options are amazing, offering a variety that caters to every taste - think fresh juices and real coffee.

The room we were given was super roomy and had air conditioning. It was in a convenient spot, near the churches. 🌟

well I did like the hotel old plovdiv very match with all the facilities and the staff was great friendly is clean I fund my self comfortable .

the only think was disturbing me night time is the air conditioning unit my room was number 7 other than that fine

This is the single best hotel/hostel I have been to in my travels, and I have been to very many. This building is incredible, the service is hands down the best I have ever had, the location is stunning. Our room was huge and incredibly inexpensive, the value for money was amazing. We meant to stay for one day initially, and loved the guest house and city so much we stayed for our entire trip. This guest house is a labour of love for the owners, and it showed in every aspect of our stay.

A tiny bit more shower pressure would not go amiss.

There were so many good things about our stay that it is hard to recall them all. It started with getting an informative and friendly confirmation email from Hariss followed by the offer for free pick up at the bus station. Nicolay who picked us up,was amazing the whole time we were there and couldn't do enough for us. All the staff were fantastic. The hostel is made up beautifully so the lable "boutique hostel" sums it up perfectly. The rooms were well appointed in a period style as the sitting room upstairs ideal for socialising in the group. The guys were able to recommend excellent eateries and when we unfortunately had to leave they arranged for an our bus ticket reservation and an honest taxi ride to the bus station (something that helps in Bulgaria). All at no charge. Thanks to Hariss, Nicholay and the rest of the team at gh Old Plovdiv. Our recomendation is - stay there!

Original hotel with amicable staff and lovely breakfast

Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable beautiful room. - Magnificent and fantastic location, easy walk to everywhere. - Situated in a fairly nice area. - Easy to reach from Plovdiv International Airport, 19 minutes drive. I had a very relaxing experience at the Guest House Old Plovdiv. the hotel is original with a friendly staff and serves a lovely breakfast with plenty of goodies. the room was exceptionally comfortable and beautiful. the location is magnificent and fantastic, allowing for easy walks to all attractions. the guest house is situated in a fairly nice area and is convenient to reach from Plovdiv International Airport, just a 19-minute drive away.

We appreciated sitting at the dining room during breakfast.

The staff were nice, the breakfast was vegan and everything was good. The room was sumptuous with an exceptionally comfortable bed and the best bathroom. Central heating, a work desk and a cable television were all available.

The rooms were well heated with a shared bathroom. the staff was absolutely kind and really good. - My breakfast was vegan and lovely with juice, vegan options, and salad. - the location was marvelous for walking around the Ancient Theater of Philippopolis.

The rooms are spacious with good heating, air conditioning, and showers, and the staff is top-notch, plus it's in a great spot for visiting.
